    The CFX96 is a thermal cycler that can measure fluorescence for 5 separate channels from 96 samples simultaneously. It is most commonly used for quantitative PCR applications in order to measure concentrations of target nucleic acid molecules, but it can be used for other applications such as measuring protein and DNA melting characteristics.
